Once again, I’m doing the obligatory, but 100% sincere post, about The Research, our friends and Wakefield’s finest band.
The new single, The HARD Times, is the last to be taken from their fantastic album ‘Breaking Up’ which had amazing reviews and, as I posted before, was Sunday Times CD of the Week.
Radio 1’s flagship DJ Zane Lowe won’t play it because his producer doesn’t like them. Zane himself watched them live at SXSW in Texas this year and told the drummer, Little Sarah, that "I don’t want to talk radio politics, but I think you’re great." Stinks don’t it!
So, come on everybody….. they haven’t eaten in weeks. Please buy their single (or even album) and let them see the end of the summer festival season.
