I responded, and ought to dig out my thoughts and share them.

I welcome the Green thinking on this: I also feel the CIPR is proposing to impose standards on social media that it doesn't attempt to apply to old media (eg ghostwriting). Anyway much of it is unenforceable.

It's an odd world view: to see social media as a threat, when it's clearly a challenge, opportunity even, for the PR industry. Keep up the good work!
