Another great post I'm just catching up on comes via Steve Rubel who writes about the new features available on Technorati.
Exciting new services include:
- subject tracker for individual bloggers
- RSS feeds for your favourite bloggers' latest posts
- ability to search within the above feed's content
- meme tracking
- ability to search Technorati within four levels of blogger authority (little authority (link love); some authority etc...)
What with Google snapping up YouTube, Technorati's new offerings represent another big name helping to centralise some of the previously ad hoc web 2.0 tools.
My apologies also to my boss, Ian Green, who referred to Technorati as an aggregator in a recent post.
I took him to task saying it was a search engine.... well it seems he was more on the ball than me on this one!

Great blog, love it Simon

I hope that with all the new features Technorati has employed it becomes more widely known. I can't help but feel that since Youtube was taken over by Google it has come under increasing scrutiny but im sure Technorati has nothing to worry about on that score!
