Well now. Greenblog.co.uk, the offical blog of GREEN Communication's went live yesterday and I got around to making my first post today.
It's quite apt really as I posted about getting value out of tagging. It's something I discussed recently with Sam Oakley and something I didn't really have an opinion on until then.
Both Sam and I have recently changed jobs and now both of us are trying to bring social media and technology into PR.
Knowing I would applying my knowledge of social media and stuff to fee-paying clients I decided I needed to konow more about tags and tagging.
Anyway, I finally think I 'got it' after reading a great post over at Smart Mobs.
The results are for all to see at www.greenblog.co.uk. As my boss, Ian Green, has no doubt explained, GREEN and sister company, Lime Brand Design, have spent months developing our own content management software for use with blogs.
We're almost there, with a few final issues like trackbacks, and bookmarking tabs being added shortly.
All feedback welcome - both on the tagging issue and the blog itself.

Thanks Simon - I think you are being euphamistic - (yes, it is a word!) Greenblog is a work in progress - it's not perfect - and we make many apologies for that, but lots of features are to follow.
What I hope is that through Juice (our own software) and greenblog (our beliefs and values) we are creating a means by which companies can engage with their key people, whether they be customers or staff.
As Peter Pan said we are at the start of "an awefully big adventure".
Join us if you dare.
Funnily enough we are having a similar debate with a potential client in Scotland - and he makes whisky and want followers not customers.
Amen to that - and mine's a large one.

comments aren't working there, simon, but a nice post, and one that made me think!

Nice design. Is it powered by WordPress?
Thanks for the link also.

Hi Stephen. I'll take the wordpress query as a compliment!
It's powered by Juice which is a 'homemade' platform put together by GREEN's sister-company Lime Brand Design.
