So first day at new job.....how did it go?
Well, like most first days really. Just spent time getting to grips with the filing systems, working out who's who, Googling clients and offering to make coffees.
Speaking of which, my clients look an exciting bunch. Pretty much all based in the public or not-for-profit sectors I'm looking forward to getting to grips with some new issues (social housing and environmental regeneration).
Of course, the big draw is being discussed in a separate meeting: how do we take GREEN's social media offering forward?
Answers shortly...

congrats simon - making coffee is something you can't reveal your apptitude in too soon...

Congrats, Simon. coincidentally, my husband is in LA starting a new contract. His first day seems to be going well too.
Got a link for GREEN? Sounds interesting.

'Googling clients'...
Yeah yeah whatever. Isn't it a little soon to be mis-using the office software?
Congrats on the first day!

Actually, his coffee making talents are not that great - he gave me instant! I haven't had his tea brew, yet - will keep you posted.
Isn't this the wonderful thing about "social media" - maximum embarrassment- you can't hide!
Simon, tommorow, I'd like Skinny Latte Moccha, with extra yoghrt and full strength Baileys and Wyborowa.

Thanks for all your kind comments.
@Ian - that coffee had been hanging around, stewing in the pot all day. It was in your best interests I gave you instant! My tea is amazing.
@Amy, GREEN's website is www.greencomms.com - but I'm told a new one is coming along any day now!

Simon -- where's their blog? Where's their feed?
I'm sure you're going to rectify that pretty quickly
