According to today's Media Guardian, Ben Wegg-Prosser, the man behind No 10's development of e-petitions; use of podcasts and YouTube is off to work for a media marketing agency in Moscow.
Wegg-Prosser, 33, is off to Sup (a play on the word 'soup' apparently) which holds the Russian right's to blogging platform Live Journal and appears an expert in all things new media (according to MG he also did a stint at Guardian Unlimited publishing education, society and politics websites) it is intereting that Wegg-Prosser has decided to leave the online-political space.
Cameron has really stolen a march on Labour in the new media stakes - although the new Webcameron offering looks worse than the original - and Labour could do with someone similarly matched.
PS. apologies for the lack of posting lately, I've been (very) busy starting a new job.
PPS I've just noticed that Webcameron is apparently in Beta.... has it always been in Beta?
