Strange but true… the UK’s Press Gazette reports that doyen of the blogosphere, Jeff Jarvis, is helping out Chorley in Lancashire devise a new town map.
In short, local paper the Chorley Guardian published a story about the local council’s town map being a decade out-of-date. This was picked up by Guardian media guru, Roy Greenslade, who blogged about it.
Jeff (probably as Guardian columnist) picked up on Roy’s post and began raising all sorts of new media suggestions as to how Chorley residents could get an interactive map of their town.
Doesn’t it put the village into global village!
